White screen for xv6700

My phone turns on but all I get is a white screen. I tried to do a factory reset, but I still get a white screen. can any one help? I also bought a new battery but that was not the problem either. When I do the factory reset I get words on screen but then when it reboots I can barely see the verizon logo before it whites out again.

How Can I reset my Carl Zeiss windows phone

ok, you have to Factory Reset it.

It is going to delete all Data on the phone, but there is no way to avoid this.

Turn off the phone
Press and Hold together "VOLUME DOWN + CAMERA BUTTON + MENU BUTTON + POWER BUTTON"
do not release the button until the PHONE VIBRATES and the screen will appear again.

Than it will reset, removing the unlock code.

It can be tricky to do, so give it a few tries.

Tip

HARD RESET HTC Apache / Sprint PPC-6700 /Verizon XV6700

While holding both softkeys (buttons with “-“ on them), push in on the reset button once. Make sure you are still holding onto the softkeys. A confirmation screen should appear asking you if you want to reset all data. Press Y to reset, N to cancel.

My HTC HD 7 phone keeps turning off it goes to the white screen with green HTC then shuts off and keeps doing the same thing over and sometimes when i try to use it and i tap the screen then it shuts off...

I finally had to have them replace the unit. If doing a factory reset does not help, then I would have them replace it. Mine started rebooting infrequently, but then started doing it more often. They didn't waist any time getting my replacement out.
Please make sure you back up all your contacts/email before proceeding. I use Google on my phone through the Outlook option. Google/Outlook syncs all my mail, contacts, and calendar.
RESET: Software: SETTINGS > ABOUT > RESET YOUR PHONE
Hardware: 1) Turn off phone 2) While holding down both the Up/Down Volume buttons, turn unit on 3) Keep holding down the volume buttons until white screen appears 4) Press the Down Volume button to reset to factory defaults. 5) Restart phone

On the first run , i just bought it yesterday , white screen with htc logo on it , cannot star it up

If you just bought it and out of the box it's having issues, I'd return it for another if possible. If that's not possible, you can try and perform a factory reset:

Performing a factory reset using phone buttons If you cannot turn on your phone or access the phone settings, you can still perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.
  1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
  2. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button..
  3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
  4. Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.
Hope this helps.

Regards,

Matt

How do i insert my sim card into the pocket pc xv6700 phone

The XV6700 phone is on the verizon network, thus uses CDMA technologies,

Unlike CDMA, GSM uses SIM cards to identify the handset.

In short: the pocket pc XV6700 cant accept a SIM card, sorry!

Thanks,
Mike
