Try googling the make of your camera and see if you can find their home page. On their website you may be able to down load the software for your camera to work correctly.
If they do not have a website or you are unable to find a download for the software in question.
Look through your manual (or an online manual) for the customer services help line number and give them a call. They may be able to email you a link to down load the software or send you a new disc out in the post.
The manual for this camera is available to down load from the Fujifilm uk website. Just click on "service and support" on their home page and select your camera from the drop down menu near the top of the page.
Usb leads are readily available from ebay
Just went through this myself as my daughter got this sans manual (brand new in package, too). The disc in the package gives a website to download drivers, though. And, there is a manual, too. Here is the direct link to the manual: http://www.spectraintl.com/hk/pdf/KT7002-EIB%20Final%20031505%20.pdf
To the person who mentioned just putting in a card & guessing.... I'm sure you meant to be helpful, but this camera has no memory card (or slot). Its a kids camera. The teeny screen has abbreviated words for modes & icon pics. You really need the manual to decipher it. :)
Ok I just posted that I had the same problem and I just figured it out by trial and error. What I did was press the playback button. press OK it will take you to the edit picture menu and the first choice is D-lighting. It should be highlighted Yellow. press Ok and then the screen will come up with 2 of your picture with different lighting. choose which ever one you want then press OK. The image will save and then the camera info should go away. I have NO idea why this worked but it did and I hope this works for you!!
Simply disconnect the camera,
Restart the computer.
See what happens.
If no go
Do a restore to a day before the incident.
Come on back
Also if you have Casio software loaded -remove it - Windows can do with out that.
