IBM x3650 Server restart problem

Amber lit when there is hardware fault within server. Open Light Path Diagnostic panel and see server part that's having amber.

Most probably this would be Motherboard issue. Rare cases for processor fault. Easy to find out if server works on dual processor

Trouble shooting:
1: Perform Power Cycle (Turn off server, remove power cord from server and wait 15 min)
2: Try with minimum configuration (1 cpu, 2 ram )
(swap CPU if have dual)
3: Perform IMM update

If issue remains, replace motherboard and see if it solves issue.

We will need more information to help you.
Have you hooked it up to a display, to see where it gets hung in the boot process? Does it get past the BIOS screen? Does it make it into the OS? Do you hear any beep codes?

Not if bare metal are identical. Video cards, NICs, Array controllers and so on... It should see it as the same server, including networks and domains.

Please refix the HDD if RAID is cofigured on server. Check if it blinks . If it starts blink then its rebuilding. If it gives steadyOrange amber then it shows hdd is bad and you will have to replace.

Before that please login to the raid controller ( Press the key it says soon after controller booting )
From controller we can confirm whether a hdd is faulty or not .

Duo core motherboards will not support the bus speed or the power output to power on that processor. You need to upgrade the motherboard with the new processor.

Your ups seems not able to supply power to all the three. Check the reaction time specifications.
