You always want to start your windows normally.
In my 10 years as a computer technician I have learned that you never use the startup repair option cause it will never help.
Any more questions or concerns feel free to contact me Country Tech Repairs
One of the drivers or programs that is set to launch during boot is corrupted. You will have to find out which and uninstall / upgrade it.
Boot in Safe Mode, click Start, Click Run and type msconfig and hit enter - the startup management window will launch. Click on the Startup tab and untick all the programs in there. Now reboot. If you get the same error then the problem is with a driver - uninstall them all then download the latest versions from the Acer Support site and install them one by one. If the problem is fixed then one of the programs is corrupted - open msconfig / Startup again and tick one program at a time with reboot until the problem returns: uninstal that program.
hi there, try booting from windows cd that fits the version you've installed, goto repair process and let it work.reboot in safe mode from harddisk, when possible. Does it work now? - If yes, reboot in normal mode...
if this does not work, do not hesitate to ask again, but please give more details about PC plus Win-version installed, then! good luck
I would suggest you let it run the "repair". "Restart" like everything else, is an instruction / command to your computer from "Windows". That command may be currupted and need to be re-written on your hard disk by the repair program.
