Misconvergence
Specifically, how would someone go about doing a convergence setup on a RCA P56940 56" projection tv? There is problems with both vertical and horizontal alignment. The three colors and separated and the picture has a concave arch to it both top and bottom.

It can be done without Chipper check. Go to Parameter 80 and it can be done .First correct any green geometery. Then work from there. All this is covered on the ptk 195 cd

Convergence on RCA P56940 chassis PTK195 can only be done by service center with RCA Chipper Check computer interface box. Sounds like possibly missing -15 volt or +15 volt supply to digital convergence circuit, bad i.c.'s U19503 or U19504. Supply voltages come from regulator supply transformer T19701 diodes CR19707 (-15 volts) and CR19709 (+15 volt)
