PROFILE WPGT9350C0PL I also have the "Notice......" message, can you help me PLEEEASSSE!!!

    the code reads: "Notice! , problem has a occured in the unit" and the washer wont do anything, as soon as you plug it in & press power that message pops up...

    WPGT9350C0PL does not work. The screen is blank as if the machine is off. When I press the power button it makes a sound like it is working and nothing happens. Please any ideas for a diyer?

    I have the same problem. Mine was filling with water at the beginning of a cycle and just started beeping. I had been running it all day and then it just stopped.

    My GE profile top loader washing machine say in "Detects a problem with the unit" have unplugged it unplugged the sensors, cannot figure out what to do!

    Fill me in with your washers symptoms and what the message said exactly. I emailed the last guy a bunch of relevant pages out of the service manual, but that was because he listed a contact. We are not allowed to give out our email addresses.

Manually drain GE WPGT9350C0PL


You can try removing the hose from the drain in the wall, place it in a pail on the floor, set the control panel to spin, even though the drain pump might not be working, there is a chance the gate valve is working and will allow it to drain.

If not, you need a small pump that attaches to a drill and two garden hoses, or a shop Vac.

Here are my complete, pre-typed, general guidance notes for balance ;-0)

It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine, even when empty, has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly!
Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine (sorry about my UK spelling!) and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.

If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal drum suspension is malfunctioning.

HI. the Main Pwb/pcb assembly(board) must be replaced in this case. there is a chip set failure that has occurred. The main board is inoperable at this time.

Won't continue cycle the message is ''Notice'' a problem has been detected with this unit.


Press and hold the my cycles button and the back button simultaneously for 3 seconds. This will reset the control panel and let you see any stored errors.

I have a GE Profile Harmony washing machine,when I go to turn it on a notice pops up ther is a problem with this unit,what do I do?


What does the notice say? Also, it's important to enter the Field Service Mode:

1. Press the POWER key to turn the dryer on.
2. Press HELP. The main help screen is displayed.
3. Press and hold MY CYCLES and BACK simultaneously for 3 seconds. Press EXIT to return to the HOME screen.


This will tell you what exactly is going on with your washer. Good luck!

hello: I have a its a GE PROFILE WPGT9350 washer and i have that pop up when i push power button what can i do if you can help this missg "Notice A problem has been detected with this unit if you can tell me how to get to Service Mode Diagnostics" thanks my email is mnunocortes@hotmail.com Actually I have tried unplugging it and letting it rest and plugging it back in, same message. If the home screen is not displayed press home then help. Then press my cycles and back together for 3 seconds.  Read what its says and then turn the power off then back on. It should be ready to go!

I'll email you a few pages out of a service manual for a WPGT9360 (closest I could find to your model number) hope this helps.

I seen that you might know whats wrong with my washer???


1 press power ( to wake up washer)
2 press Home ( it may already show HOME)
3 press HELP
4 press and hold MY CYCLES and BACK (for 3 to 5 seconds)

the service mode diagnostics screen will come up
it will show what errors are recorded..( if more button is displayed then also go to next list)

be sure to write them down exit will clear the codes and run a test

let me know what it tell you I can help...
