Question about Roper REX4634KQ Electric Dryer
My problem is that my dryer will not dry the cloths in one cycle.i do not put alot of cloths in it and the lint filter is always clean. It takes at least three cycles to dry the cloths
If replacing the control thermostat does not remedy the problema, then timer replacement is nessesary. If it was me I would replace the thermostat first. What I really suspect is a burnt contact inside the timer at the RH terminal. Yours is not totally fried but well on the way.
If you are careful you can clean the contacts inside the timer. You must remove the small retainer ring before removing the plate or the timer will never go back together correctly(that is the secret,Shh!)
