Question about HP 4570C Flatbed Scanner
Hi guys....I seem to have a unique issue. My Scanjet bulb is PINK! All scans are PINK! Tryed plugging it in main outlet instead of power strip. Reinstalled HP drivers/imaging software (which now has communication error thru software) but other software's communicates fine. But everything still PINK! Going crazy, need help. Thanks
Had exact same problem. Went to HP site and they said to check "add or remove programs" functions (in control panel) and if there are multiple copies of HP software to download their fix. I checked, had multiple copies, downloaded patch and all worked well again.

This might probably help, see the Diagnostic description, Patch etc... to download, havn't tried it yet but maybe its the solution for errors.

I have a Mac running OS X 10.5.5. dan123 answered my hp3500c problem with the above link. I downloaded the dmg file and installed the hp environment and it works. I was not, however, able to use the Photoshop plugin in Photoshop Elements 6. I can use the hp GUI and name Photoshop Elements as the output. I performs the scan and then opens it in Photoshop.
