I have a problem with the safety feature on my oven. When I ignite the oven I get a small flame as expected then when it warms up- the flame goes up to full blast. I can't switch the oven down to a lowwer setting. My family had the same problem with a different make but that would settle down to the correct setting after about half an hour or so but this one won't!

the igniter doesn't work. So i go with a long lighter, but i'm not sure if i'm suppose to lit the oven with it because i get a full size flame, whatever the gas power i put.
