Question about Computers & Internet

Hp home computer

I'm hoping that someone can help me!!!! I'm ready to scream here.
Our computer a couple of months now has decided to at any given time screw up!!
Heres the issue, it could happen 1/2 hr. after the computer is on or upon starting up. The screen has a bunch of horizontal lines that go thru it. Whatever colors are currently on the screen is what colors are in the lines. There not perfect lines they are jig jaggy.
If I run the computer in safe mode I have no problems with it.
So in all my ''wisdom'' I decided to restore the computer back to factory preset. Thinking maybe this would take care of it. I didn't though, right in the middle of registering the computer the screen did it again.
We do have Trend Antivirus, and Spybot I've run both of them. Trend Virus is offered through our internet service so it starts on start up of the computer.
We have windows Xp vista. We bought is from Best Buy and purchased the ''extended warranty'' when I called them before they said it didn't sound like anything that was covered in our warranty. Of course not!! Why would it be?
So I'm irritated, while I can do very limited things with the computer in safe mode, that's not working for me.
So hopefully one of you smart people out there can help me!!:(
Thank you

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is the LOGISYS Computer PS575XBK 575W ATX12V SLI Ready Power Supply compatible with my HP m7170n desktop computer?

Hi,

Yes this supply is compatible with your case, the only worry is that they have some mixed reviews. given you cannot run SLI in that case though I would think it should do fine.

Hope this helps FixYa,

HP laserjet 4L wont print from computer

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Pc start-up failure

It could be overheating. Make sure all the components and fans inside the tower a clean of dust. Get a can of compressed air and blow all the dust out. You could also try removing and re-seating all your pc cards, memory sticks and cables.

Screaming fan

hi well install a couple of wings and your good to go!....:) the fan starts when the power supply is heating up from a big pull of current all you need to do is service the little jet - unplug the power - take a can of compressed air and blow it on the fan (while working to) - after you cleaned it take a spry oil can (WD40....) with a nozzle and lubricate the hinge of the fan (not to much, while working only if the hinge is opened from outside) good luck
