SOURCE: i need the code for my rds 4000 radio

I am afraid FixYa cannot and does not provide codes to equipment or software.

I would have posted this as a clarification request to prevent you being charged for this but was unable to do so as the option is not available for premium questions.

I hope you understand that providing code may allow criminals to bypass security on software or equipment.
My only suggestion is that you deal with the manufacturer.

Sorry about that.

Hi, in Antec 300watt power supply there is 3 cables or input or current 220volt. The cables are Black, Green and white. Which one is earth, which on is live(positive) and which one is negative?

For 120 volt operation use
black for the hot, White for the natural, Green for earth ground.
For 240 volt operation use;

Black and White for the 240 volt and Green for earth ground.
Black is generally designated as the "Hot" or "positive" .
You must make sure the switch on the power supply is set for the voltage you are using. ie: 120/240

Electrical problem. Lights will not work and there are too many wires that I do not know where they go or their function

there will be at least 3 cables at your light two are live in and live out which connect the other lights on the circuit the other will be your switch live the neutral ie blue or black on this cable should be sleeved brown or red and it goes into the live of the light all the other neutrals go together and all the lives and earths

1989 f250 wont start dead silence when i turn key on replaced ignition switch, starter & solenoid, truck will start if i jump points on solenoid

Two parts to this circuit, the low current: power supply to the ignition switch which then passes to the small wire on the solenoid when you turn the key to the start position, at this point there should be an audible "click" from the solenoid. Don't forget the solenoid needs an earth to operate, so check the earth path too, usually through its attachment point(s) Check that the ignition switch has power going to it. Check that the power is transferred to the start wire when the key is turned. Check the power is arriving at the solenoid, small wire. Check the solenoid has a good earth. Does the solenoid "click" when you try to start? Yes to all this? Then the low current side is good. The high current side: a permanent live (hot) to one side of the solenoid. When the key is turned to the start position and so long as the solenoid "clicks" then the power to the permanently live terminal is transferred to the other high current terminal. If it is not, then the terminals inside the solenoid are burned/dirty/high resistance. You might be able to dismantle, else change the solenoid. If the power does transfer, but the starter motor does not turn, then suspect the starter motor itself. Check there is a good earth for the starter motor, the heavy duty cable to the engine is in good condition, terminals clean and tight etc. If all good, then the starter motor is most likely U/S.

I brought a rover mgzr and want to put radio in it but the wires in the loom have had the connectors cut off so i just got the speaker wires and the four wires to power the radio, I know which speaker...

My assumption would be black = earth, red/black = power, purple power antena? green white? start by getting a test lamp put the earth ********, turn ignition on & check all wires for power also test in acc position & off position in case 1 is memory (constant power) once you know which ones are power put the test light in the power & black to check the black is the earth. Once you have + & - & speakers it should work.

I have a 1988 300zx non turbo 3.0 just replaced the ecu thinking it was the problem but its not. My car will turn over and it sparks, tested the fuel pressure and it makes 42lbs so thats not the problem...

The pulse to switch the coils comes from the crankshaft sensor via the ecu. Pulse to switch injectors comes from the CAMshaft sensor via the ecu. Check injector wiring plugs and confirm there is an ignition live of 12v at one side. Other side should have an earth pulse when cranking.Once you know which is missing you can trace the fault backwards. ( if no ignition live then check wiring, relay, fuse etc) if no earth switching check camshaft sensor and wiring.
