F1 means there is a problem with you electronic control. When the F1 code shows up try hitting clear and see if it clears the code. If not you need to replace the electronic control. This is a spendy Fix but you can replace it yourself to save some money. If you get me the model # i can get the part number for the control.

Did self clean on my GE Profile Electric True Temp range - now the door will not unlock. Held the cancel button in for 3 seconds - no luck.. Any suggestions?

Do a hard reset of the control panel and locking mechanism. Unplug the cord, wait five minutes and then plug it in again. Try the door. You could also try to start another cleaning, interupt after 5 min hitting the clear/off button

Have GE spectra range model JB960. The F0 button came on. Followed troubleshooting but no success. Do I replace keypad? If so, how? Where do I get one?

The "F0" fault code implies the Clear/OFF pad is shorted or a touch pad failure. If the code cannot be cancelled, unplug or disconnect the power supply from the range and then disconnect the keypad and then power it up. If "F0" ceases, replace the keypad/glass assembly; if "F0" is still present, replace the main oven control.

I added an image below with instructions how to access the control and glass panel. NOTE: Disconnect the range from the power supply before servicing.

GE profile mirowave JVM1350WW002. Handle broken

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

You can find handy exploded views and order parts by model number here.

My GE profile gas range keeps clicking all the time, this happens right after we have cleaned the gas range. And usually it goes away after a few hours. But this time around it refuses to go and it is very...

You are getting water into the range when cleaning causing the igniter switch to short out. The reason why it goes away after a few hours is because the water finally dries up. When cleaning the range refrain from using so much water. You will need to leave the range unplugged until the water dries up again.

How do you change the oven bulb in a GE Profile Convection oven?

Unplug or flip breaker to the range. Remove wire around glass bulb protector by sliding one side out of clip while holding onto glass protector so it doesn't fall into the oven and break. Unscrew old bulb, replace with new one. Hold glass bulb protector over the bulb and hook wire back into its clip. Voila! Back in business. (I didn't unplug it, but discovered that you can't turn off the bulb, so it shines in your eyes while the oven door is open. Also, very stupid thing to do, since the bulb could very easily have broken in my very clumsy hand and given me a bad shock. So do it right, and unplug!)

Buttons/timer don't make sound

Unplug the range.
Remove the control panel to access the touchpad and electronic control.
Remove the touchpad ribbon from the control inspect for and clean any corrosion and reinsert it.
If this fails, replace the touchpad.

Ge profile

let me understand, you p[lug in you oven and the broiler will automaticalle start??? not allowing you to cancel???? if that s the case unplug and remove the back panel from tyhe range, sound sas if the wire leading to the broil ignitor has shorted itself against the cabinet of the range itself, look for whiter braided wires at broiler hieght, chances arte they are hitting against hte cabinet right near the vent area.
