HP deskjet 3320 prints small fonts not true copy of original

Windows XP HP deskjet 3320 dose not print in original text. It is so small i can hardly see it.

How can I change this? Just print from outlook express and yahoo photos and emails.

I receive a list for instance, I copy the list and print. It comes out in a font so small I would need a magnifying glass to see the list. Also if I print a photo comes out like a little tiny picture. I went to HP and used live chat, after one hour... all they did was repeat my questions... EXAMPLE: "you cant print the actual size of email is that correct?"

I asked them to send me their FIX, by email. They said it could take two days... still waiting no response! HELP.

    EcoPcKing,

It came out normal... regular print... What could be going on?

Thanks so much, you would think HP would have had me do that... come to think of it, why didnt I?

    Now what?

This is for my father, all he prints is notes and photos from email. He uses Yahoo and Outlook Express. Windows XP, explorer 7.

I just cant find a way to adjust it. It used to work fine for him, HP does not have anything in utilities to change it. I wonder if an update changed it somehow?

If I send him a list, which printed out would normally be about a half page or so, comes out in about size 6 font or smaller font in a wallet sized photo area of the 8x11 sheet of paper.

then this means that what ever you are using to do the copy and print, is formatting the font too small. what program are you using?

Fonts and sizes are typically controlled by the application you are using. Are you sure you are increasing the font size? I've had some users confused by the zoom feature which is more like a magnifying lens. It just makes thing larger for viewing purposes and does not affect the print size. To change the actual font size of a document already created you would first highlight the text in the document. In Word (other applications are similar) you would then select Format from the main menu bar, then select Font. In the next box that appears you would click on the Font tab, and then in the Size field select a larger font size. After that click on OK and you should see your font size change. Let us know if that was your problem or not.

SOURCE: When printing from websites... text prints in

Well before printing, you can copy & paste it on a word document. After that, increase font or change colour.
OR
You can do file \ print \ properties \effetcs tab \ % of normal size! Here you can increase the size using the slider.

I have tried every thing that i could with out sucsess to enlarge the printer font size on my documents i can't hardly read them thay are so small.

If you are trying to print emails directly, you must change font size in Internet Explorer options for font size which controls email print size in Outlook Express. You may copy to a Word doc to control fonts there.

My print is too small

That is at times controlled be the size selected in Windows Internet Explorer font options, which also effects Outlook Express email printing. You may copy and paste to a word document and change font sizes there also.

Bottom of page is cut off sometimes printing from vista computer

Hi- I'll try to solve this.

Go to the start menu and open the Control Panel. Double click on Printers. Right click the L7580 printer and choose "Printing Preferences" On the preferences window click on the "Advanced" tab. Make sure "Advanced Printing Features" is set to "Enabled" Under "Printer Features" turn "Minimize Margins" to "On"

This should solve the issue. If minimize margins is off, it will cut it off at the bottom.

Banner printing on HP DeskJet 722c InkJet Printer

The problem with your printer is probably if you are using Windows XP it will not print banners from there. I downloaded drivers too and found if I went to a printer with Windows 98 and put in my software program the banner will print out. Hope this works for you. I had to find it thru trial and error.

Text to small when printed out

may be your screen resolution is too low (things on the screen appear as big). Try increasing your screen resolution.

To do this. Right-click an empty area of desktop > click properties > Click setting > move the slider of the resolution tab towards the higher number.

Sometimes the application that is used to create or print the document may be set to a view level of low zoom size. increasing the resolution view size of the application should solve your problem.

It is recommended to use true type fonts they print in actual size.
