Question about Panasonic Televison & Video
I bought a PANASONIC TH37PV500B 17/09/2005. I have been highly delighted with the set, that is until the freeview (integrated) stopped working. The message on the screen says no signal detected , check aerial connection. This I know to be ok because I have a freeview hard drive connected to the same aerial. It has on the odd occasion started to retune only to freeze after a few minutes. I then am forced to turn off the t v and turn back on to unfreeze it. I have tried resetting to factory condition, turning off unplugging and restarting but to no avail. The analogue works ok . I have also tried plugging the aerial in direct from the wall socket.
I hope you can help

SOURCE: Re-tuning Freeview
The retuning process is as follows:
If you wish to CANCEL the auto tuning process whilst it is processing then press the BLUE button at any time.
You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

Hi - I have the same problem. Also in Cornwall LG were not interested in helping because the TV was 3 1/2 years old. There was a possible fix in the end offered via LG at a cost of £180 + vat - a hardware update that might or might not work but I was not going to pay that so I now watch my LG 42 plasma via a £25 digi box from the CO OP. LG must have sold 1000's of these Tv's so when the digital switch starts in the more populated areas of the country I exect many more web postings.
