Peg Perego Thomas the Train Ride-on Music button not working

I fully charged the battery and the right button which operates the motor to move the train along the track in a forward motion works but the left music/headlight button isn't working. Any suggestions?

It could be a bad switch or the music board has a bad contact.

My Thomas 6v Ride -On Train works, but VERY slow. It sounds like its really struggling to go. I have TWO fully charged batteries so I know its not the battery. Everything else on it works great...

It sounds to me like your battery needs to be replaced. The batteries lose their ability to hold a full charge after some time (especially if they've sat for a long while without a charge). You can get the battery tested at a trusted shop, but it might be more econimical to just replace the batteries with fresh batteries and see if that solves the problem. New batteries will charge much better and hold the charge much longer.

I do not use the video for trying to solve problems. Sometimes sound is not good, voice needs more definition, trying typing the problem. If this is a electric motor car and the battery is dead or if 2 batteries the car can be difficult to move because that's how electric motors work. They usually have a severe drag on the wheel system. If 2 batteries and 1 battery fails or rarely shorts out this will kill the other battery and not drive the vehicle. Many years ago I have seen this , the lights would work, the accessories would turn on, but no operation. even a single battery can do this. We have tested batteries with load testers and they should low or weak even when fully charged. I took out the battery and install new one and it worked. Old battery was maybe 1 year old. I would recommend going to a trusted shop and ask for the test on the battery. they rarely charge if at all for this test. If ok check for a reset button to your electrical system...

I bought the peg perego train 2nd hand and the black button does not work to move the train

first of all check for at least 6 volts from the battery and the charger, you can test this using a multimeter, if the battery doesn't show any volts, lift up one side of the plastic housing on the top and verify that both the positive and negative wires are plugged in
