If this machine is like other of its type then you may find the manual taped to the inside of the machine near the bottom side panel.
open the bottom access panel (3 screws on bottom front lip) and look for it as it will have the codes. near where the filter is .
while you were down there cleaning the filter did you check that the pump impellers move freely and were not clogged with any debris.

This worked for me for the E3 error code: Turn the machine off and then on. Enter the Service Mode by pressing the Chime and Exrta Rinse keys for 3 sec. Display the Diagnostic Codes by pressing the Rinse and Spin key. Clear the codes by pressing the Delay and Chime keys for 3 sec. Turn the machine off, unplug and plug in the power cord. This dumps the memory. Evidently, if it gets full, it causes problems with the programming and messes up the cycles.

hi there,
the FH error means it's either you have a drain problem if there is water in it or if if there is now water in it, make sure that both water inlets are turned all the way up. check to make sure that you don't have any water leaks anywhere visible.

I had the exact same problem. nd code (no-drain) at the end of the cycle and when I opened the door the machine was still full of water. I took the back panel off the washer and disconnected the drain hose from the pump. (You're going to get quite a bit of water gushing out at you so be prepared with towels or a shop vac.) At this point you should see a little rubber disc over the end of the section you just exposed on the pump. This is a little drain flap. Just lift it up and you should be able to see into the pump a little bit. At this point I poked around in there with my finger and found a hair pin stuck in the pump! I wasn't able to get it out from this end of the pump so I disconnected the big rubber boot which connects the wash drum to the pump. Then I was able to twist the pump (counter clock-wise) and release it from the washer base. I didn't have to disconnect any wires and was then able to see into the other side of the pump and pull the hairpin out. Put everything back together and it's worked fine ever since. I've never even looked inside a washing machine before but it really was really fairly simple. Now my husband really does think I'm a domestic Goddess. I said he should take me out to dinner with the money we saved on a service call!!

This is now the 3rd time this has happened. The 1st 2 times it cost me ~$100 to have a technician come in and fix.
This time, I did it easily. For my Maytag Neptune washer, I removed the back panel (2 screws). On the bottom tray is the water discharge pump. On the output side of the pump there is a small cavity under the rubber flapper where a nickle fits perfectly. I removed the nickle, reattached the output drain line. started it up ...
and viola! the problem solved.
The motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential suds lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds.
Potential Causes
•If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
•Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
•Check Wire Harness connections to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and
Central Control Unit (CCU)
•Check/ Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
•Check Drain Pump
•Check the Pressure Switch
•Check CCU
