Question about Refrigerators
You had replied to a problem I had on my refrigerator last week, unfortunately I was out of town and just returned last night and hadn't had a chance to reply back. My problem is the freezer is cold as usual, but the refer side is approx 50deg. There is no cold air coming from the baffel between the freezer and the refer. The baffel is open. My fan is running in the freezer and there is ice forming on the back wall of the freezer. It has been this way for a week now and the compressor never sems to cycle like it used to. The unit is approx 11 rs old. Any suggestions you might have as to a fix I would surely appreciate it. Thanks again for your expertise.
If there is ice on the back freezer wall you have a defrost problem,it is one of 3 things, defrost timer, defrost heater,or defrost sensor,if you have a meter you can check the defrost heater and sensor bt removing the back wall freezer panel,if the heater and sensor omn out good it is your defrost timer that bad-mike
