I have a HP psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one printer. When i print a new document the text is not printing but if i insert a picture it will print that. I have put a new ink cartridge in thinking that may be the problem but that didn't work.
Can someone please help.

HP no longer provides support for drivers for this printer. The newer Windows OS will support the printer natively, but sometimes it requires a little finesse from the user. Here is a link to an HP forum where folks tell how they worked out the communications issue for the print and scanning functions. Hope this helps! adding hp psc 2410 printer to windows 7
Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.
Check to make sure your PSC 2410 is in fact the default printer. If it is, make sure your cable is firmly plugged in to your printer and CPU. Clear the print queue. Turn off and restart printer. I have found that your problem is basically a communication problem between the computer and printer. Also check www.hp.com. Good luck.
Hi, my name is Sam, and I think I know how to help you. First please press, start and go to run then type "control printers" in the text box. that should bring up you printer icons and click on you printer icon. A box should come up titled something like HP PhotoSmart PSC 2400 Series, go to the Printer menu and click on Printing Preferences..., go to the Effects tab and set "% of normal size" to 100 % of normal size!
There must have been a settings change in the printers properties or the programme that your are using to instruct the printer to print text only and not the pictures.
Sometimes printing web pages direct from the net have the problem, as pictures are left out purposley to aid printing speed.
