Question about LG 32LX2D 32 in. LCD HDTV
My warrany just went out 10 days ago on this television and now it has no screen. When I turn the power on it goes from the red standby light to flashing green to staying solid green. The screen stays Black, no picture, no sound, nothing. Anyone? Suggestions?
The amount of standyby power consumtion is minimal. The only way to turn it off completly is to disconnect the power from the TV. This will however increase your start up time when you want to use the TV.

You need to update to the latest firmware. This was an inherent problem in many LG LCD TVs released around the same time as yours but can be easily resolved by installing the latest firmware. You can call LG to have them send it to you on a USB flash drive or you can go to their website and download it along with the instructions. You will need a USB flash drive an plug it into your TV to intstall the firmware.

You need to lower your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this TV. It is too high for the TV to display.
