Re: bad driver sound
Dx9 isn't a sound card driver, but a protocol for them, you need to know the chipset name of your sound card and download the right drivers, or, the name of the model of your desktop/laptop in order to download the drivers on manufacturer'site

1) Go to www.devicedoctor.com and download and install the software 2) Load up the program and then click on 'begin scan' 3) This will scan and hopefully pick up the missing drivers for your sound 4) Click on download for the sound drivers 5) Install the drivers and enjoy
The microphone connector is on the rear of the monitor, and you need to connect it to your computer's microphone input jack. The cable is the same kind you would use to connect the audio output jack to the input on a set of computer speakers. Once the microphone is plugged in it works just like any standard microphone. No special drivers are needed for the monitor, but you do need to be sure that the proper drivers for your computer's sound devices have been installed.
If this solution has been what you needed, please take a moment to rate it. Thanks for asking here!
Is the sound card built in to *********** board? if no, you have to know your Audio model number and brand..and then download the drivers from the manufacturer's websites..some drivers are here like VGA drivers: http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/236077/sis-sis650-sis651-series-driver-univga3-3.74-windows-98se-me-2000-xp-xp-x64-free-download.html
Hope you will report the model of your audio card.
