My Myspace page is not terribly complex, but is maybe a little above average. When using MSIE the scrolling speed is awful. I believe everything is loaded, but for some reason the scrolling is terrible. It's almost like a freeze and resume when scrolling. Here is the interesting thing--Firefox works beautifully. I have no problems when using Firefox. Everything loads and scrolls almost instantly. I haven't tried Netscape, Opera, or Safari.
Although I wish everyone would just use Firefox, the fact remains that most users still use MSIE. Anything you can suggest?

Re: Slow scrolling using MSIE
Myspace has so many ads that are so full of scripts/flashplayer/shockwave images that it is constantly loading. Or so it seems. It is annoying unless you have the latest and greatest of everything computer/internet (MOST of us do not) which is probably the point. I recommend that you make sure you have the latest flashplayer installed. I also recommend using Firefox. I use it almost exclusively now. Don't slow it down with too many add-ons though, just the ones you really need..
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Check the paper type you have set to print to. I the print thinks it is printing labels or envelopes it will run slower to ensure that it can bond the toner to the page. Also check how complex a print job you are sending. These units do not come stock with that much memory and a complex job (like a detailed photo) will slow them down.
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. The maximum speed of the printer is 8 pages per minute, which cannot be exceeded. This speed is measured using "Letter" sized paper. "Letter" is a U.S. standard paper size, which is smaller than European A4. Your print job may be very complex. Try the following:
Reduce the complexity of your document (reduce the number of multiple graphics, etc.).
Try a different graphics mode setting in the driver, under the finishing tab.
Try printing the document at 300 DPI.
If system resources are low, try printing with fewer applications running.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
Several things can physically affect the speed of the printer.
What is the make and model of the printer you are using?
Please define the what you mean by slow.
How is the printer connected to the PC?
How complex is the page that is to be printed?
What is the rated PPM (Page Per Minute rating of the printer)
Are you sending Postscript data, PCL data, HTML data or PVXL data to the printer?
How much memory is installed in the printer?
