Dualgraphics

Hello here is the homepage:

To enable crossfire, you must have 2 identical graphic cards.

The onboard graphic can`t be used with the hd6670.

This means that you must buy another hd6670 to add on the mainboard.

The graphic cards homepage:

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/AMD_Series/EAH6670DI1GD3/

AMD CrossFire technology is the ultimate multi-GPU performance gaming platform. Unlocking game-dominating power, AMD CrossFire harnesses the power of two or more discrete graphics cards working in parallel to dramatically improve gaming performance.

You also need a large power supply min. 500 watt to have enough power.

Please disable the onboard graphic in the device manager.

Good luck

My 9800gt won't boot sends no signal to my screen and makes a clicking noice now this isnt right i know but whats causing it any ides guys

You might have a power supply issue, your computer might not be able to handle having it all powered so it's sending power to the GPU but not enough to send a video signal.
I'd suggest making sure you have a power supply on your computer capable of handling a graphics card this big.

Hello there

From what you have said it sounds like you have the RROD - 2 RED RINGS ERROR

The main causes are Hardware failure, overheating or wear & tear.

You may need to perform simple maintenance, clean or in some cases adjust settings.

To get the best advice on where to start I recommend a GOOD REPAIR GUIDE, From this you can fix the problem at home and avoid any large repair bills. Its easier than it sounds when you have help from the guide.

I used Gamer Fix to get the best guides

The other solution would be to send the console off to its manufacturer, This is free if your still in warranty. If your console is out of warranty then the usual price of repair is $150

I am Glad I could help and You can help others by rating this Post or leaving a comment.
Many thanks

Gts 250 and psu problems

The dual 6 pin, I believe, is used so you can take power from the power supply and pass the connection back where it was taken from with a jumper. The card should need only one connection for power (But it IS needed)
Power supply is vital for a computer. From your description I would not get less than 600watt. The power supply should be rated at least 125% of what you need worst case.

well if compatible with your motherboard then you should get a core 2 duo- e6600 is a good performer if you can find it otherwise a e8400 is good. That graphics card sucks for gaming! The 1gb is irrelevant, you should try to get at least a 8800gt/9800gtx/ati 4850/4870 to game at high resolutions with high detail.

"Call of Duty" runs in slow motion on my PC.

Hi thomas,

Upgrading video cards will definitely increase in performance. You asked whether you should upgrade your entire PC or just the card and that really depends on the hardware you are running. If all of your hardware just barely meets the requirements than upgrading the videocard WILL give you a noticeable improvement but obviously it will not be as good as getting a better CPU and more RAM as well as a new card.

A good measure of a cards performance is based on the series of cards it is from. Your Geforce is from the 6000 series of Nvidia cards, they have 7000, 8000, and even 9000 series cards atm.

I would recommend something like an XFX Geforce 9800 GTX+ series card with 512MB of onboard memory, or any other competing card in the 200$ price range. This will definitely give you an increase in performance, and is a very popular card.

Hope this helps and please take a second to rate!

Yes , All you need is the same GPU. The mem doesn't matter as they run to the lowest card.
