Im already connected on my laptop. got a desktop and want to know what i need to get to connect it to wireless broadband?

So you have a laptop , have a desktop . Get yourself a wireless router. Assuming you have that as well , all you need to do is
1. Scan the wireless networks in your laptop. Look for the wireless switch in the task bar 2. Get a Wireless Adaptor for your desktop and have it installed .
If you have both of these, you should be good to go
Thanks

Connecting a router

To connect more than one computer to same network, you need to use a router. Two modems will not work on same network.
My suggestion:
Buy a wireless modem router for cable broadband (and eventually a wireless network card for the other computer.
Here is an example: Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B 4-Port Cable/DSL
Ask retailer to get right model for your broadband.
Connect the remote computer with wireless.

LAN card not installing

u can use any brand . there's no problem in that . installation procedure is very simple. just buy a pci lan card. Insert it in the pci slot. Then switch on your computer , insert the driver cd provided with your lan card , then install the appropriate drivers.
Then, you can connect BSNL Broadband by connecting your ADSL modem with your LAN card.

Hope it helps..
Regards
Grydor.
