Too many programs running, not enough memory, bad driver for something, any one or maybe all of these things. Throw it in the river and say it was stolen. Claim it on your homeowners ins. Buy a better one when you get the check.

try to open your windows in safe mode. (when you turn on your PC press F8 repeatedly), then choose safe mode. Once you entered on safe mode, go to start, RUN then MSCONFIG. then go to STARTUP. Uncheck all items then OK restart.

My display hangs everytime I put the hipstreet for charging and it does not let me charge the unit at all. Once it hangs, it does not show up if connected to the computer

Check your power settings and go to your control panel and advanced power settings. Make everything high performance.

This same problem happened to my laptop as well, but I, without listening to anyone, went for online technical support and got my problem fixed. Why don't you go for the same??

Hi!My laptop hangs/freezes on desktop after starting 10-20 secs. But i can run safe mode and has done System Restore but when I restart happens same problem occurs. I first encountered this problem when...

Hi,
Welcome to FixYa!
Since you already done doing system restore and same thing happens, there's a possibility that the problem is with the Operating System itself. All you need to do is to reinstall the whole operating system.
1. If you have the Recovery Disc that came with the computer, insert the disc and restart the computer.
2. It will ask you to press something, maybe Del or F2 to boot from the disc.
3. Once you press that, your computer will automatically boot from the cd and it will asked you on to which partition you will save it.
4. Choose the partition which have the largest space, usually Disc 0 Partition 1.
5. Follow the next instruction on the screen and it will reinstall the whole Operating System.
Hope this information will help. Thank you for using FixYa!

Hanging

do you know the services/ processes that are hanging? you can restart them by going into the ctrl panel - administrative tools - services...find the service and restart. Sometimes a reboot only keeps the state of the services, which is why you need to manually restart the service(s). Now if this still doesn't help. You can re-install the software that caused it. Last resort....Run a repair from the Windows installation CD .

System hanging up

you may have too many tabs open
have you cleared your history
also try to defragment your system; some websights will stay in your system; but leave a blank area on your drive causing your system to lock up
