Go to the link posted below and download (free) DBAN disk wiper. It will be an image (ISO) and then burn it to a CD or DVD disk. IMPORTANT: Make sure you have the BIOS set to CD=First Boot Device.
Now insert the CD or DVD in your driver and reboot. Choose "Automatic". Let it run, it will take a while so go and watch a movie or something. It will wipe the drive including partition. It would take the equivalent of the FBI to recover any data off the hard drive once it is finished, this is a pro low-level data remover.
http://www.dban.org/download
click the red "DOWNLOAD" button.
Incidentally, before you install Windows7 I strongly suggest you run the (free) Microsoft system analyzer to make sure W7 will run on your legacy system.
If there are further questions, I hang out at www.suggest-a-fix.com
which is a free computer help forum. Post in the Hardware section and I will be along. This forum is not set up for complicated problems that require repeated, in-depth communication.

Bypass parental controls on computer

this thing is designed not to be by passed and is password controlled ..but If yo want a tip ...try to reinstall the operation system ..and to be undetected for the changes ..you can even use a different hard disk and only insert it when you want to use it .
basically insert another hard disk ..install the operation system and use it ..and when you finish ..just shut it down ..and remove the power from it ..and will be not detected in the system unless someone it is looking inside..You can even make a bypass and install a switch somewhere for to avoid the opening ..This in case you want to remain undetected..If you think you have enough space ..and there is no issue with the others control you ..you can install a dual boot on the same hard disk ..Just clean a partition ..at least 30 G ..and use a windows installation downloaded or from the disk ..and select that partition for to install windows..It will prompt you on start to select which windows to start ..and the one you use will have no parental control or so ..
Or ..if this is a old issue ..just reinstall teh system and make you own settings ..You can even use the recovery partition or disk if you have ..

I want to burn a dvd from movies on the internet

Whatever website you're downloading from, make sure that you have bitcomet and windows media player. Download the movie from the internet (using bitcomet) and play it in windows media player. When you enter the disk burn it using either Windows Media Player or BitComet (please check I am unsure) and burn it. If that doesn't work --- contact Dell/IBM/Microsoft

Cannot finish disk defrag

Hi!

Seen that before! microsofts defrag tool isent the best one if i may say so. If you have any programs running in the background it wont finnish, so you can either stop all running programs manualy and the defrag will finnish, OR you can Use another defrag tool,
Here are two:
O&O Defrag is one of the best, but its not free:
