There s no power to my oven

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that you are not receiving power to your Frigidaire oven, model# FEB30T7FC, even though the power is on to your home and the breakers have not been tripped. Please try the following:

1)Be sure the electrical cord is securely connected into the electrical junction box.

2)There is a possibility that the service wiring is not complete.

3)There is also a possibility that there is a short in the cord or plug. Replace the cord or plug.

4)The house fuse has blown or the circuit breaker has tripped immediately following installation. The house fuse may not be fully engaged. Check the fuse and screw or engage circuit breaker securely.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

    -Best Regards-
    WP

Oven not heating!

Hi Michelle,
I understand you are having trouble with your oven not heating. Based on the little bit of information provided I could suggest the following. If you are having problems with the individual bake or broil then it is likely that the single element is the problem. However, if you find that neither element is heating then electrical connection could be causing the oven to not heat.

Following electrical storm. No display and oven control erratic

Possible high voltage could have damaged the power supply or the main program control board. So you can remove the control panel after disconnecting the power cord. If you notice any capacitor leak replace and test. If not the processor/ controller IC must be checked for failure to drive the display and run the program due to a static damage to the chip.

Went to switch oven on fan works when you turn the temp knob it trips the trip switch every time help

HI, Sounds like your from the UK
If you are referring to a trip switch as being equivalent to an American circuit breaker. (Electrical safety device designed to shut down power to an electrical appliance). Then we are on the same page.
Do the following diagnostic procedure:
1 SHUT DOWN THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE OVEN. I.E. THE TRIP SWITCH/CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2 Open the oven door and look very carefully with a flashlight at the heating element. Look at the the entire element. If it blew (similar to when a light bulb blows) you will
find white powder around the hole in it or it will be completely broken, or have bubbles in it. Some indication like that. If so it has failed and must be replaced. It is probably tripping the switch because it is shorting out somewhere. There is also the possibility that the internal wiring connectors to where the element is mounted into the oven walls is broken off and short circuiting against the oven chassis (walls). That being the case, it may be just a wiring repair in which you install new appropriate electrical contacts and re-connect the element.
Hope this helps,
Happy New Year,
Mark

Oven connection

I have tried to locate electrical information on your oven from here in the USA. I was not able to locate the electrical requirements for your Zanussi ZOD 330X. If it is typical voltage for ovens like ours in the USA I would say no and that the power should be 240 volts and 50 ampere breaker. But to be sure you should locate a local supplier for your model and ask them first. This will prevent any incorrect answers from someone that is not familiar with your local requirements. Thank You, Sea Breeze

Installing ge profile double oven not convection in new build trying to find out electrical requirements ( size breaker 50,60amp ?)

You must use a three-wire, single-phase A.C.
208Y/120 Volt or 240/120 Volt, 60 hertz
electrical system. If you connect to aluminum
wiring, properly installed connectors approved
for use with aluminum wiring must be used.

That means that you ned a double 40 amp breaker.

Good Luck
