What can I do to reboot new hard drive

So a new drive will of course, have nothing on it at all. Lets just say you are installing windows 7. With the windows 7 disk in the optic drive as the power is turned on - check for boot options at start up or hit your Del key to get in to the bios. Search bios for boot priorities - Set optical CD/DVD drive as primary (first boot) Make sure you can boot to the windows disk.. Once it sees the disk in the drive - follow the directions and the disk with start the install process. AFTER your windows os has loaded, you may need to find orphan drivers that did not load with the windows disk. You'll have to search for proper drivers. Oh, huge - If the computer is running SATA 1 - Pentium 4 to first generation Core 2. You may need to hit your F4 key to add other drivers at the very beginning of the windows install.
The drivers most the time, show as a raid driver, but this is needed or your system will never install - The Hard drive will never be found.

Hope this helps.
Have a great night..

My laptop will not finish loading it gets to this screen & stops - Wireless module not supported! The system detected a wireless module installed. The system is not supported. System halted! Please...

This is a fairly common problem with HP laps. Nobody, even HP, has come up with a definitive reason. Best thing to try:
>Replace the wireless NIC (network interface card) from your laptop. It will be accessed by removing a cover on the rear. This may or may not work.
>Remove the NIC (described above). Get a USB wireless internet adapter. Install the drivers that come with it, then reboot the computer and plug it in to any USB port. Hopefully that should solve your problem.
HERE is a link to an adapter.
I carry one of these whenever I go out on calls in case the owner's computer has a failed NIC and can't access the internet and it never fails for me.

>Remove the wireless NIC

How do I wipe my hard drive clean and restore it to the way it was when I purchased it

If you have the original disc drive installed (and the original OS), try pressing F9 repeatedly after turning on the computer. (Sometimes, it can be hard to get the timing right - the button press needs to be seen after the POST and before Windows loads. If you see Windows starting to load, let it finish loading and then shut down the computer and try again.)

This will access the recovery partition and reformat the computer and restore the machine to the factory state. Follow the on-screen directions and make sure that you have saved your personal data elsewhere.

However, if your computer has the ASUS boot booster, you will need to disable this feature to access the recovery program. Try pressing F2 or Delete (depending on your machine) to enter the BIOS with the same timing as the above use of F9. Then find the option to Disable the boot booster. Then press the F9 key on another start up cycle. My ASUS computer doesn't have this feature so I'm not sure where it may be in the BIOS (if on your computer).

Asus offers a WinPE wipe and recovery option for some of their computers that can be put on a USB flash drive. has the procedure for one of their other models.

I hope this helps.

How do i increase the speed for pentium(R)4cpu 3.00ghz

you can increase your speed of your processor installed in your computer by adding more memory that your computer or motherboard and processor can support. Sometimes even you have a high speed processor but it needs to have a high speed size of memory also in order cater more processing transactions in your computer. The memory function as the temporary storage of your current program or application you load in your syustem or you run in your computer. So the more memory size you have the more program or application you can load and the more program can be loaded in your memory it can help your computer fast or process more processing transactions in the computer system. So if you want to make your computer fast you have to install a high speed processor at the same time a large and fast memory.
Hope this will help you answer your problem. Thanks

Tjmax approched while under load for dv5 1123tx c2d t5900

if your system is win xp do this. pres ctrl+alt+del to open windows task manager , go to processes and see at the end of window how percent of yor cpu is used , reading is in percentage. if is too elevated 40 50 or more percent then navigate ascensor in the right and find which of processes is causing this click on it and after click end process till process is disapeared from the list see readin of cpu usage again is changed or not?
if yes so you have virus in your system that is using your system resources to destroy your hardware, so install a new fresh system as soon as possible and get a new good antivirus, if dont have money to bay then go to site and download from there avast home dition 4.8 and spy bot search and destroy . this can be a comprehensive defensce agaisnt most of the viruses.
if you dont have cpu usage high and dont have any task causing this then service your cpu maybe is finished or the cooler(they are acompained with gas filling) is finished so you have to change him, or processor if hi is damaged. but i think you have first problem that i told you.

" Error loading operating system "

This is not an easy one. But to start, when you install an OS, you needed to delete the drive when you where at the install screen of windows, which you did not post which one. Then after you install an OS
you need to install the chiposet drivers for the motherboard so that it can work. Then the graph drivers, sound drivers, lan drivers. If you do not install the drivers for the hardware that is on the Mobo
windows will try and use generic drivers which are junk.

So you are going to download the drivers for all the things I said. Now when you try and install and you are at the screen that ask to install windows, look down and pick delete the partition than pick which ever letter it ask for and pick yes, now you will see to create new partition, just hit enter because
at the box on the bottom of screen has the full size of the hard drive in it, unless you need to make another partition. Now make sure that C- new raw -- is highlighted and hit enter to install windows to your hard drive, now you get- format NTFS , do not format quick.

This is the best way to install a OS on a clean hard drive. Hope you get it installed ok and all the drivers.

System can't boot after performing a PC clean up by dissembling

beeps on start up is indication of missing hard drive. memories, or reversed IDE cable.
unplug all add-ons, leave just the memories and the monitor. turn on the machine. if all is good, then insert each items one at a time.
make sure the memories are the type that fits the machine (not physical but electrically).
I suspect your hard drive may be the problem.
go to BIOS and make sure all the items a checked and correct. specially the drive0 and drive1.
I assume that the hard drive is SATA. make sure the connection is 0 to 0 and 1 to1 in the BIOS.
check the hard drive in the BIOS, make sure it can detect the hard drive. if so, then the problem is in the hard drive. if you have another hard drive, try that one.

Hello orwason,

This has haapened to me to, very frustrating. The problem is something loose inside. When you did the cleaning something came unseated, a pci card or an ide connector. Go through and make sure all connectors are snug in their respective slots. Also, make sure you unplug the power cord before touching the inside. Let me know how it turns out for you.

AMD64 2 CORE 4000+

The processor has nothing to do with it. Definetly your system is infected by a virus or a trojan or spyware. Please download free antivirus like QUICK HEAL and make a thorough scan. If this doesnt solve, the IC [circuits] of your chipset might be overheating. The general symptom for this is the computer freezes and refuses to perform any tasks after few minutes of loading the os.
First please make a scan and also post the picture of your taskmanager showing the different processes running.
