Question about NEC Versa VX Notebook
Hi- I bought the wireless USB drive you recommended and installed it according to the cd that came with it. It's now installed but now the ISP is showing no dial tone. Is this a fixable problem? NEC Versa FX (Model: VF2A7AA-000-000)
There will be no dial tone for wireless access as you do not use a dial up modem. Rather you should be seeing a signal strength indicator, usually in the lower right hand corner of your desktop. If you have purchased wireless access from your ISP you should have a wireless access point that the USB wireless adapter will receive the signal from. Follow your ISP's instructions for setting up wireless access. If your provider is Sierra Wireless here is a link to their support page. Click Here
