I can not read anything on my facebook on my pc, there are letters and numbers only, which is unreadable.What should I do. If I delete my facebook on my pc, will it erace it from my Tablet?

I think you changed the language of the facebook. Check it

How do I delete Facebook from my computer?

On your computer it is just a tab in the browser. Delete that tab.
To delete Facebook complete, just visit this Facebook page, and follow the instructions. It really works.

Facebook icon is gone on my iPad but app still exists. Can I delete the account and reinstall without losing my data?

I have tried to delete my account on face book. Then I read somewhere some high tech brainiacs said you can never delete face book, if you delete your account you can just sign back on and it is still there. I am a windows user with above average computer skills. But I think you can delete it and it is still there. That's why I wonder how the IRS lost three years of Data, The FBI would be able to recover our data I will assure you of that.

Facbook is very slow

have you tried deleting the cookies on your computer? Sometimes that leads to making your computer slow! Also just try rebooring your computer to!

Facebook has a hide, unhide option alongside the note, if you are lucky, it has a reverse circle arrow which is an undo on top of the facebook screen. If you delete the message and the person as well
Immediately after you delete a message in your private Inbox, you are given the option to "Undo" - above the message - but that is it. Once a message is gone, it's gone; there is no way to recover it later.

I cant log in to facebook

I had the same problem...when I go to type username and password page goes to load, turns white as its says 'redirecting'.

Sent several emails to [email protected] with no update from them on fixing this. Tried clearing cache/temp files in IE (tools--.internet options-->delete files), deleting cookies, clearing history, running Norton scan (no probs/no findings), restarting computer and all of these methods do NOT fix problem. I use IE6. Note that for the 1 out 10 chance I do successfully login, the page still freezes when I switch from one tab to in facebook to another tab in facebook.

I hope everyone experiencing sends an email to facebook ASAP([email protected]) b/c the more that report this the faster they get out with a fix (I had heard thatFacebook might have changed something on facebook's servers on 2/5/09, which might explain why this problem started on that date). Switching to Firefox just to use Facebook is not acceptable.

Additional Details
Others have reported that when using either IE6 or IE7, that the problems discussed above have constantly occured since/around 2/5/09.

Everyone experiencing these problems with either IE6 or IE7, PLEASE send a detailed email to [email protected] ASAP, and include it that email which version of IE you are using, and if the problem is as outlined above, include those details. Facebook tech support ([email protected]) needs to know this ASAP.

If you are experiencing these problems send an email ASAP to Facebook's tech support at [email protected] !!!!

I need to delete my account.

Here is an extract from Facebook: HOW TO DELETE (long version)

Click "Submit" and follow the instructions.

Your account will be deactivated for two weeks, and if you DO NOT LOG IN during that period, your account is permanently deleted. I REPEAT: don't panic if your profile isn't deleted right away! You must NOT try to log in to your account for at least two weeks, as it will cancel the deletion request. If you want out - stay out, mmmkay? ;)

This method is official and should be complete, i.e. no need to delete individual photos, comments, messages or items from your profile or anywhere else on Facebook! If you have any concerns whether your stuff is actually deleted (as opposed to being kept somewhere in the deep dungeons of Facbook's HQ) your best bet is to ask them using email: [email protected].

Delete your account at Facebook by going into the account settings. Facebook is a website and so it is not a program or image etc. and therefore cannot be "deleted". If you want to delete your browser history use the navigation toolbar and at the top of your browser to access your browser options and do so.
