Question about Sony VAIO VGN-N250N/B Notebook
At two weeks since purchase you are well with in the standard one year warranty... if the other fellow's advice about the network card is not helpful, call sony and get it fixed!

Check in the network settings if the wireless network card isn't disabled.. if windows has disabled it you can flick the switch as much as you like it wont help.
If you dont know where to re enable it, let me know what version of windows you are running... and ill set out more detailed instructions
PS.... As a general rule of thumb, you could have bought something worse than a Sony Vaio, not bad choice....
