does this happen only when you play dvd? bluescree usually pertians to Operating system issue, so i suggest you back up your files as early as now, and try reinstalling your OS. If it still wont work, you may need to replace your hard drive.
sometimes nero after burning dvds ,they want play on certain dvd players,, could be the format the movie was in ,, . why dont you download magic dvd copier,, itll copy any dvd,, they will play on any dvd,,goodluck
Have you checked to see if your drive isnt too full. This can be the problem why it has only just started. I bet if you got rid of some of your films in that machine watching a DVD from the ROM would be a pleasure. I know my sister has that problem and refuses to part with her films so she has to watch here DVD on another machine because she too has to many videos in her laptop. The poor machine and CPU is working overdrive and the RAMS too.
