On the touch screen you can lock the screen the same as on a moble phone Then as i understand it, touch the screen at the bottom marked unlock and it should unlock, but it does not unlock

I has been did a "Factory reset" but didn't help. After the reset it's started the screen alignment and stucked into, also after tapping the 5th point starting over on 1st, and going on like an endless loop.

You will have to do a "Factory Reset".

***You Will Lost All Your Data***

While you reset the device by pressing the little button on the bottom with the stylus,
Hold "UP" on the direction pad.
Keep holding for about 30 seconds.
You should then be prompted to do restore it to factory settings.

Let me know if this doesn't work, and we'll go from there,
Simon

wow, my spelling sucks at 4 AM.
I meant "LOSE all your data"
and "prompted to restore it to factory settings.
    Jeesh!

I need to replace battery. Is it easy to get back off? Manual says I need to take it to repair shop

Basically to take any phone or pda apart, unscrew all screws and look for hidden screws under soft objects or labels etc.

ones all screws are out, use a small flat screwdriver or a case opener tool to carefully open the case of the phone or pda. it should snap open, very likely plastic holders on the corners that keep the case closed, carefully snap them open / off, don't break them.

Mio P550 how do i do a hard reset

on/off switch in "off" position for at least 30 seconds, then turn it in "on " position, power on and "reset". You'll lose all your data and all the installed programs.
Alternative: using the screen options, go to "system info", and choose "hard reset".
Beware: pushing the joystick down while doing a reset will get you a boot menu with memory-formatting options. Choose "exit".
Otherwise look into xdadevelopers forum (Google it or go to, say,
Mio P550 / P350 ROM upload [Archive] - xda-developers
)
A good idea would be to backup your data in the first place- just a hint.
Enjoy.
