I brought a bluetooth mouse the brand of the mouse is called targus. I added it to to bluetooth devices and it worked but then when i turned my laptop off and on the next day it wouldn't work. The red light is on and everything the lazer bit at the back, but every time i press the id button at the back of the mouse the little red light at the front won't flash, so the bluetooth port can't find the id for my mouse.
I was wondering if you could help me, if there's anyway of fixing it instead of buying a new mouse
Whe u installed you mouse, you installed it from the cd from targus..right? so there is some settings in that program that you can change so when you turn on your laptop the bluetooth seeks for bluetooth items and it will find your mouse. I know its a little bit tricky but you can fix it, find the settings, change them and you dont have to buy a new mouse.
When you turn of your laptop the cooonnection betwen the item is lost, when you turn on you laptop i asume that your bluetooth is now passive, by making it active it starts immediately search for bluetooht items.
Good luck!

There...go to the site and download the drivers and try again. I still belive that your mouse is OK, its all about drivers and settings.
Good luck!

It didn't come with a disk. I looked to see if i was the only one without a disk. but i'm pretty sure that this bluetooth mouse just doesn't come with i disk. I don't know anything about fixing things but i was i little curious so i took the three screws out and took it apart and just had a look at it. I connected the bluetooth back up to i while it was apart then the id light came on and started flashing so i put it back together and then it found the mouse on bluetooth. I did the same thng today but it didn't work, now the little red id light is on but it doen's flash.
Is there any way of fixing it. Or is the mouse just faulty
i can't find my product on there and when i do wich is the targus recharcheable optical bluetooth notebook mouse (amb06au) the picture it shows is not my mouse plus the fact that at the end of all of them they say us when mine says au and then it says for mac which i'm hp windows vista
Lol i already know how 2 set it up i read the manual heaps of times. I set it up the otha day and it worked but that's because the id light at the front was flashing which meant my bluetooth could find my mouse the only reason y it hasn't found it is because my id light which should flash doesn't. At first there was no light on it. Then like i said i took it apart, it worked then i turned off my laptop then on again. now the light is on but it just won't flash.
I'm thinking it's a faulty mouse, but i was hoping that there would be a way of fixing it so i didn't have 2 buy a new one
hi, i have the same problem as jkwaasit.
Just wondering if anyone found any solution to the problem. Mine (AMB06AU) has been working fine for about 3 months. Now when i click onto the ID button, the red flash light doesnt blink at all. And consequently, the bluetooth cannot detect the mouse. Help!
