My Techko SH52008 shredder auto-stop no longer works. I have to turn it off manually between feeds. I have not had it for long and have always run it well within its operating margins.

unplug the shredder and get aflash light look into the cutting slot.
there is micro switch in the slot.
must likely the switch is stucked, and not flipping back out.
try to use something thin clean off some of the glue (yes glue!) on and around the switch.
make sure the switch is free to move.
