This isnt a job that requires you to remove the heads from your printer - there is a setting in your software that will let you perform a head clean.
there are usually two ways to do this - go to the 'control panel' select printers and right-click on the printer that is installed and click properties - this will bring up a screen for the printer and under the 'tools' tab there should be a 'clean heads' - click on this and that should start the process.

the second way - depending on the model of the printer - go to the start menu and find the entry in the 'programs' list - there may be a selection for the head cleaning program there that you can click on

Hope this helps.

Canon S300 printer. 7 orange blinks, 1 green. I

According to the manual found here:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=330&modelid=6609

7 orange lights represents a bad print head, and the printer will need serviced or replacement. Since printers are so cheap lately, I would just go shopping. Hope this helps! Thanks!

Gives the error for ink tank full

Before you try to reset your Canon i9100 be sure to remove the ink head itself before attempting and then replace after, it won't work if you don't, I almost threw away 2 good printers before I read this today.
