Go into the device manager and uninstall the sound drivers, then reboot the machine. Upon start up it will find new hardware and reinstall the drivers. If this doesn't do it, then you may have blown the sound card or speakers.

Hi,

I think to make it more easier try to reinstall the Operating System and after you reinstall the Operating System if the problem is existing it means that the Hardware is faulty.

My pc says no audio output device installed, but in device manager it says its working properly and the drivers are up to date

Well it is possible that the audio driver installed is not the one compatible with you computer board. Try downloading the specific driver needed for your computer's official website. This should solve your problem.
