Suggest OpenOffice instead.

1) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

2) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice.

3) There is no 'learning curve'. The user interface of OpenOffice looks VERY close to MS Office.

4) It is F-R-E-E

(Told MS Office to....um, well..........and have been using OpenOffice since. More than 3 years ago. Tired of MS Office 'parlor tricks', and losing saved documents, (Try 3 years of tax papers)

Am I proficient with using an office program? Nope. Admit it. I am a computer hardware geek.
Still stand by OpenOffice though, because those who ARE proficient, say it is GOOD.

Just my 2cents, John.

You can download a free trial of the Microsoft Office software through the Microsoft corporate website and then buy an activation code that will allow you to enjoy the full functionality of Office Suite for as long as you own your computer.

It became necessary to reinstall my MS OFFICE 2007 and in so doing the original CD fell off the Programme Installation and I cannot have the PC serviced for many days/weeks. CAN I DOWLOAD DE ANOTHER MS...

The answer to that is was the Office 2007 a retail copy or an OEM. In other words, did the computer come with Office pre-installed. If it is a retail copy, yes you can download a copy of the Internet and it should work. If it is an OEM version, then you would have to get the OEM version from the manufacturer.

Best of luck, Jim

Same as others have stated: I put in Product Key Number (located on stamp on bottom of my H/P laptop), then I am told this number is incorrect. Help! Joyce

Joyce,

I've never heard of an MS Office key being attached to a PC (or laptop). Typically the number you are referring to is the key for your operating system (Windows 7, Vista or XP, for example). The number you need (for MS Office) usually comes on the box or CD of the installation software.

Hope this helps.

Once I heard of a program you could download call uTorrent. And once, I heard of a place called Pirate Bay on the interenet. And once, I heard of a place called eBay, where you can still buy Office 2003.

I don ve the ms office 2007 product key... the trial version of ms office had expired... please help me...

There are three possibilities now:

Purchase a valid license from Microsoft and use this product indefinitely. If you do so, you will entitled for future discounts on office products and updates.

Back-up your data, format your PC and re-install Windows. After that, install office again and activate with a trial key. This should reset the trial and you can use it for another 60 days. This may or may not work and may be termed as piracy as according to EULA you may not use this software on same PC for more than 60 days.

If you you want a free, fully featured office suite compatible with Office, try Open Office; completely free to use.

I NEED MICROSOFT OFFICE RUSH

Hi,

If you want MS Office, then you need to purchase them from Microsoft.

Office is not a part of Vista, we have to install it separately.

For your information, 60days trail version MS Offiice will be available from Microsoft.

After 60 days again you have yo purchase full version MS Office.

If you don't want to buy, after every 60 days, you can try reinstall after another 60days.

Let me explain the procedure to download the trailversion MS Office:

Download and install the MS Office 2007 from the below link:

http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx?culture=en-US

After installing the Trail version MS Office from the above link, then you have to contact Microsoft to get the trail version MS Office key for 60 days.

You can request for trail key from the below URL:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101759011033.aspx

Hope this will help you.

Please reply if you need further assistance on this.
