Konica 7145 Question

I just cleaned out my 7145 , it seems the defuser was dirty , I cleaned it but now looks like it is out of toner and is not. The Konica guy where I work said hold the 3 and 6 keys , turn on power , release them then press something in which I forgot. He told me it will recharge it? The problem is the roller that is magnitized and pulls the toner is not magnitized anymore. HeLp!

Usually, the hard disks are located where all the boards are, due to the fact that hdd needs to be connected with this boards and if the wires are longer, interferences might appear.

Possible that developer needs to be replaced or Toner is not supplying into the developer Unit.

Manousos Xatzidakis:

I would take another look at the drum cleaning blade as well as the CEL and PTL. Any time I've had problems with double images, the drum carriage and parts associated to it have been the problem. I remember one notable case where I removed and shrouded the drum to protect it from light, cleaned both the charge corona and the discharge corona, cleaned the PCL and the PTL of toner dust, vacuumed the drum carriage of toner dust, cleaned the developer unit and replaced the developer. I finally got clear copies and the customer was satisfied.

Konica 7145 i have an error message 0006 I have replaced drum in drum assy. it gave me an f26-3 error message performed L detection now it gives 0006?

Check Toner control sensor board, on drum unit behind drum, is clean, try L-detect then, try it a couple of times. If that fails you will then have to change developer, and perform L-detect.

Replace Thermo- fuse (open ) fuser not getting to 160, and clean thermister, toner builds up between roller and thermister causing overheating of fuse to blow .
