DENON 4306 TV mode on and off?????

Hello, I had the power suddenly go off today due to a fuse blowing. This has happened before and replacing the fuse normally fixes the problem. The receiver is not the reason for the blown fuse however, this time we replaced the fuse and the receiver will display the cable TV but only for a minute or so and then go off for a few seconds and then come back on and the cycle repeats.
I was hoping it was the cable box but after hooking up directly I can watch TV without interruption.
