Question about RCA P46921 46" Rear Projection Television
Hello i have a rca rear projection tv that has sound on all of the channels but like four or five. I have tried using new coax and plugging the tv in directly to the wall but still the same results. It is also the same channels that never work correctly. I have great picture but no sound.
The first thing that I would check is in the audio menu to see if it is set on the SAP mode (secondary audio programming). If it is and there is no audio being broadcast on that channel, then you would have to turn SAP to off (which is usually what it is set to). Now there have been problems with the audio dropping out on regular CRT style RCA televisions where the audio would drop out, and you had to unplug the set for about 30 seconds to reset the TV, and I would try that next.
