Question about PC Desktops
I swapped out the cpu from the q6600 to a single core celeron cpu. i made sure both cpu were the same socket but i dunno this might be the problem. i also reformated the hard drive so it is completely blank now so that i could reinstall windows. i dont get any display on my monitor but it looks like everything is running fine. all fans and lights work like they should. any help would be great
SOURCE: No display and wont boot
A Blinking Amber or Yellow power button means that the power supply is receiving power from the source but is unable to properly distribute it to the components. This can be caused by a defective power supply or a defective motherboard. Power supply is easier and cheaper to replace.

go to BIOS set up and change the Primary Hard drive as the 1.5 Tb
secondary hard drive will be the 500Gb
then save the setting and restart.
connect only the 1.5 Tb and try to turn on the computer ..let see if you install the windows XP correctly.
if both dnt work...you must install win xp to 1.5 Tb and the 500Gb is not connected...finish the installation of all drivers and restart the computer
after restart, shutdown and connect the 500 Gb
