Question about HP OfficeJet 4215 All-In-One InkJet Printer
This problem has been going on for quite some time now and now it has gotten worse for some reason. My computer crashes several times a day and when the computer automatically reboots, I get a Microsoft Error message. The message :
This problem was caused by Hewlett-Packard Printer Driver (HPZid412/HPZius12), which was created by Hewlett-Packard Company.
Hewlett-Packard Company is aware of this problem and working as quickly as possible to make a solution available.
Well looking online, this has been going on with other HP printers, but no new solutions or fixes. I contacted HP, but their solution did not work. All they had me do was uninstall the software and reinstall the software from their website. Then waited on the phone for 2 minutes to see if it crashes and call it fixed since it didn't. However later that day it does. I have done the plug and play method also after uninstalling the printer driver. I haave to uninstall the printer driver everytime I want to take my laptop somewhere. It is frustrating to say the least because of other programs have to be recalibrated to the printer. The Microsoft link is: http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/Response.aspx/980/en-us/5.1.2600.2.00010300.2.0?SGD=95a93c43-1040-424d-b562-e603258b7cdb
No idea what to do to have the printer to work correctly. I have updated all my other drivers and most XP updates except SP3. SP3 just causes more problems with other software I have besides taking away the address bar. I have an HP officejet 4215 all-in-one which I have had for three years. Just bought a new laptop running XP and installed the HP full boat of HP software (need to use the scanner - otherwise I would do just drivers) anyway the thing bluescreens and crashes every time I try and launch it. Going to try and download what I need from HP website. Never had this kind of problem with Epson... could be time for a new printer.
Follow the link and get the correct driver and get installed
Also try with another USB cable, If you are using a long cable, just try with a short one.
