Nothing like that on my keyboard and problem persists. Any other suggestions?
It might have something to do with my "Incredimail" because it seems to work fine here.

Look down to your task bar to the right , you will see a small grey square with the letter ''E'' in it click on the E and you will see captions, one will have a till to the left of it, the tick needs to be beside the UK English caption, this will make your PC see your keyboard in English format.

Can't get acer desktop to recognize logitech cordless mouse

Yes, you need to install the Logitech transmitter for your cordless mouse. The acer transmitter uses a different frequency. You could try pressing the connect button on both the existing transmitter and mouse but that's not likely to work with different manufacturers.

My logitech mouse and keyboard software keeps uninstalling. Purchased in 2005. OK until two months ago and now uninstalls three or four times a month.

Do you mean that the desktop manager keeps uninstalling? Have you visited the Logitech site and downloaded the newest Desktop manager? There may be a patch that has been issued for your model. I use the cordless wireless keyboard mouse combo but I do not use the manager.

I recently purchased the cordless mx 3200 laser desktop (ie keyboard and mouse). I have been able to get the mouse working, but not the keyboard. I keep trying the connect buttons but there seems to be...

Push the connect button on the base - the light on the base should flash. Push the connect button on the keyboard. The light should stop flashing. (This is the generic Logitech way - individual models may vary slightly.)

I got 2 logitech wireless mice in same desk, because I dont have anywhere else to place them, and they interference with each other...How can I change frequencies? Please help Thanks

This is in the logitech knowledge base.

Question: ''When I move my cordless mouse, it moves the cursor on the system next to me. What should I do?''

Answer: ''This is called ''Cross talk'' and is characterized by one cordless device controlling the cursor or keyboard input of another device connected to a different computer. To avoid possible interference, try to keep the distance between systems at least 10 feet. Also, moving the mouse closer or further away to the receiver can also improve transmission and performance. If the above fails, try pressing and holding the ''Connect'' button on the receiver for 10 seconds. This will reset the receiver's connection information and allow you to do a first time connection with the receiver and mouse or keyboard. After holding the Connect button for 10 seconds, then press the Connect/Channel button on the bottom of the mouse to synchronize it with the receiver. If you have a cordless keyboard instead of, or in addition to, a cordless mouse, press the ''Connect'' button of the receiver again, then press the ''Connect/Channel'' button on the Keyboard. Perform these same steps on any other Logitech cordless devices in the area that are experiencing cross talk. Another step that can be tried is to remove the batteries for 15 minutes. Then re-insert them and boot the computer up. It is important that during this time, you do not press the connect button on the receiver or keyboard of the other cordless desktop system.

I could not find anything on mouse crosstalk in the Microsoft knowledge base. Perhaps the problem is not so common for MS mice because of their more limited range.

Buying a new mouse was suggested. This may or may not work if you bought a new Logitech mouse, as it could wind up on the same troublesome frequency. Of course, if you replaced the Logitech mouse with a Microsoft mouse, their limited ranges might eleminate the problem, even if they used the same frequency.

Cordless Mouse & Keyboard install I need help

if you have a disc for the new items ,install first, shut down pc, then take the old mouse & keyboard off connect the new wireless ones before rebooting
you may need to sync the mouse & keyboard by holding in the small little button on each item and the reciever unit untill the lights come on indicating it is recieving the signals from both mouse & keyboard.if this does not work put the old mouse back in reboot then go into control panel / mouse, and sellect wireless mouse ,turn off the pc plug the new mouse back in then boot up

good luck
