My oasis he canyon capacity washer was displaying a ol error code i looked on this sight and noticed someone had clothes stuck under thiers. Mine had same problem and the way i removed the nutator was to first pop off the cap which covered the bolt assembly holding the cone (nutator in place then i tried to pull it up but it didnt move i. iI had someone hold the drum and wiggled it back and forth. i still could not pull it off i used needle nose vise grips and on the lip where the bolt was removed i clamped it on and pulled straight up and it came off fine. No there was not any marring of the surface either if a person wanted to they could use cloth between the vise grips and the lip area.

Re: OL on Oasis Washer
Does your washer have an agitator or a nutator.(nutator is the little cone on the bottom) They have had problems with the nutator tightening and causing extra drag on the motor. The Oasis is a very complicated machine. It is either that or the control board. You can replace the control board yourself and see if that fixes it to save the hefty service technician charge. If the control board doesnt fix it then you have to call a technician. if you need any further help let me know.

OL, usually means Over Loaded. It is an error code thrown up by the on board computer.. generally when TOO much wet weight is in the bowl.
This condition is could be caused by faulty solenoid or solenoids at the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the supply hoses. Check the solenoids at the water inlet valve. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking for continuity. A lack of continuity will indicate a faulty solenoid and the inlet valve assy will need to be replaced.
Try unplugging for 12 hrs before reconnecting
If the problem continues then the controller board is damaged and will need to be replaced.
Thanks for using FixYa. oL flashes when the machine/motor control detects a load size that exceeds the washer’s capacity. Open the door lids to clear display, remove excess laundry, then restart the cycle. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Kenmore Elite Top load washer machine. Error "OL" does not spin fast enough. Clothes are still very wet. I have checked the machine is sitting on even surface and well balanced from all sides. Any idea(s) ???
