My gateway mt6839b wont turn on anymore

-   The same thing happened to me! I am so angry. I only had this computer for about 4 months!!! I am taking online classes so I need my laptop. I called Gateway Technical support and the stupid rep is telling me to go rent a computer or go to the library. She instructed me to turn the machine off and on, remove the cord battery, and nothing worked. I never spilled anything on it or dropped it. They want me to send the computer in (I am responsible for the shipping). They said they may have to delete all of the information stored on it so I have to take it and have the data transferred (I have to pay for that as well).

I really want to avoid sending the computer in if there's a simple soultion.-   gorgeousbb
