My amilo li2727 is not picking up any wireless internet even when the wireless function is turned on, all it says is that there is no ethernet cable available please plug one in. I am in a place where there are plenty of wi-fi signals but the laptop is not picking up any of them
If you are connecting to someone's wireless network without theie permission then they most likely decided to secure their wireless network.
You can connect to a free wireless network at locations such as the airport, Macdonalds or Starbucks etc. These are ususllly unsecured wireless networks.
