I have a HP Officejet 5610. I placed a sheet of paper down on top and pressed scan. It didnt work. How do I scan using this machine?

If you're already connected and printing to the 5610, here is how to scan in Windows 7 and Vista.
Windows Vista:

Click on "Utility - Diagnostic Tools". 3. Then click on "HP Scan Diagnostic Utility" and follow the instructions to open and run the utility. The utility can help ensure the scanner is connected and working properly.

How to print a page from a website

Please follow the steps to Print a web page using the Internet Explorer or Mozilla web browser.

>Please click on File, Print or press Ctrl+P key and then select the Printer( HP Officejet 5610), select the page range and click OK to print the web page contents.
>You can also preview the web page you're trying to print and then print it (File-->Print Preview).

click on settings >>> Printer settings >>> click on Color tab..

select print in color. Click on OK.

HP officejet 5600 connected but not printing

try a complete reinstall of the printer:
1) unplug printer
2) un-install all drivers, and make sure printer is removed from printer list
3) download the latest drivers from HP:
http://www.hp.com/sbso/bussupport.html
(the included CD drivers could be outdated)
4) follow HP instruction on how to install the new drivers and printer (sometimes it wants software first, sometimes it wants to detect printer first).

Printing Problem (HP officeject 5610 all in one)

Make sure that you also uninstall the old software first before reinstalling from the downloaded version.

- go to printers folder then check the status of your printer - if it is offline, right click the icon and select use printer online...
- check if there is pending documents becuase printer wont print if there is pending document in queue- to clear the pending docs. right click the icon and select cancel pending document
- printer OJ 5610 icon should be in ready status, no pending documents, and the icon has a checkmark as as default printer...
