Bought my phone about 6 months ago, battery is fully charged. When I turn it on, it stays on the 1st black rumor LG life is good screen; the phone won't finish powering on. I can't do anything, make calls, texts, nothing - the phone won't let me get anywhere.
I have tried removing the battery and removing the memory card - both suggestions I got off this site - but neither worked for me.
Golf - the firmware needs to be flash on teh phone so take it to amobile service center and have that done.

I have the same problem and just got off the phone with Sprint Tech Support. I was told that I some how entered in a PANIC code while the phone was powering up. When the phone finally came back on it said "Service Needed". All my contacts and phone numbers were gone. Tech support said that the panic code rendered my phone useless and that I should take it to a Sprint authorized dealer repair store and that they would trade out phones. On the bright side you will get a new unit but on the down side you will have to manually enter in ALL of your phones numbers again. Hope this helps,
