I brought my monitor 8 months back till now there is no problem but recently a black dot appeared on the screen i thought it is some dust and cleaned it but it didnt disappear then i conformed that it is dead pixel does my warranty work or not.
It might, somes companies won't honour warranty unless you have 3 to 5 dead pixels. Go to www.samsung.com and contact customer support to see what can be done.

Hi
It's likely you have a sticky button.
Look carefully to see if you have a Menu button, enter the control panel and use the arrow buttons to scroll to the exit icon and then press menu again to manually exit.
I hope this helps.
