My pioneer receiver vsx 55txi will not turn on

Power is plugged in and it will not turn on.  Is there a fuse?  What can I do?  All of the cords seem to be plugged in.

I have the same problem, and yes it is the fuse. My question is this, the fuse I removed was a 6.3amp 125volt 5x20mm fuse and all I seem to be able to find are 250volt fuses, either 6amp or 6.3amp., will using one of these fuses harm the receiver or will the higher voltage fuse with the same amperage be ok?

Yes, there is a fuse inside unit on main board...just unplug receiver and take screws out of the housing (side and back) and you'll see a cylinder fuse....pull up and out and see if its blown...If it is replace with same amp rating.....

My pionner audio video multi changer receiver vsx-498 shuts off then turns on when the receiver is on how can i fix it

The problem is not clear. Does the unnamed multichanger turn of/on wit hthe VSX-498 or is the VSX-489 having power issues?

Is the power cord of the multichanger plugged into the back of the VSX maybe the outlet is SWITCHED with the power state of the VSX..

The multi tool has stopped working, there seems to be no power, I;ve changed the fuse. still not working

THE PLUG MAY BE BAD OR THE CORD. IF YOU CHANGED THE FUSE, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TEST FOR POWER,AT OR AROUND THE FUSE..THIS WILL TELL YOU IF THE CORD IS BAD.. JAY THE POOL PUMP REPAIR GUY IN LONGWOOD FLORIDA

GPS does not power on. I tried both power outlets and the light on the cord does not turn on. It seems that it does not make contact. I never had any problems in my Camry with the same device.

if the socket is good, and a fuse good, the plug on the GPS may have a fuse in it. usually the tip of the plug will unscrew and a fuse is inside. The owners manual will pinpoint Aux Socket 1 and 2 for the fuses at the fuse box under the dash.

On my Pioneer vsx-55txi, the protection circuit cuts in whenever I raise the volume to a reasonable level. If I sit 10 feet or more, the volume is too low. I don't like my music or movies loud, but this...

The protection circuit is enabling because the output transistors are 1. drawing too much current causing them to heat-up 2. the transistors are going out 3. the threshold level for the quiesce state is set too high and may need to be adjusted internally. Try to cool down the Unit and see if it occurs again.

I have a Dimension 5100. There was a big thunderstorm about a week ago and our power was out for maybe 4 hours. Now, the computer will not turn on. It, along with the monitor, printer, router, etc. are...

you mostlikely blew a fuse in your power supply, either that or your cord became damaged, to check the cord, plug it into another computer or a monitor, 99% use the same type of cable, if it is your power supply, you need to remove the ps from the desktop, obviously while unplugged and undo the screws for the ps casing, then simply remove the old fuse and replace it

My gateway mx8711 notebook shut down when I plugged in the power cord. The battery was charged but now it will not turn on with or without the power cord. Is there a fuse in the unit and how do I get to...

Seems like the Main power board is short circuit. And the cause was not the fuse, it's the unit, and maybe the power transistor, my suggestion is, take it to the expert, Service Center maybe or else to solve the problems.

hope it help you.
